We Are Named ISC3 Start-up of the Month

Human Material Loop has been selected as Start-up of the Month by the International Sustainable Chemistry Collaborative Centre, ISC3, recognizing our work in transforming human hair waste into high-performance keratin fibers.
ISC3 is an international centre advancing sustainable chemistry through collaboration between science, industry, policy and entrepreneurship. Implemented by GIZ, the German Agency for International Cooperation, ISC3 supports innovations that rethink how chemicals and materials are developed, produced and used.
Human Material Loop was selected for its approach to turning an abundant biological waste stream into a new industrial fiber source, combining material science, circularity and a short supply chain. ISC3 also highlighted the strength, durability and acoustic properties of the material, as well as its potential for interior applications.
The recognition strengthens our ambition to establish human hair as a reliable industrial raw material and expand the sources available for the next generation of natural materials.
