Junior Scientist

We are looking for a motivated and curious Junior Scientist to join our dynamic R&D team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with a passion for biotechnology, keen to contribute to cutting-edge research, and develop new materials from waste human hair. You will work closely with senior researchers, gaining hands-on experience in laboratory processes and contributing to the optimization of our research initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities

– Assist in the execution of research projects focused on keratin and protein transformation.

– Support the setup and maintenance of laboratory operations, ensuring experiments are conducted efficiently and safely.

– Perform laboratory tests and analyses, collecting and documenting data accurately.

– Collaborate with team members to design and conduct experiments, contributing to the development of new materials.

– Maintain a clean and organized laboratory space, following established protocols and safety guidelines.

– Engage in literature reviews to stay informed about recent developments in the field.

– Participate in team meetings, sharing insights and contributing to discussions on research strategies.

– Assist in the preparation of reports, documentation, and presentations related to research findings.

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biotech, or a related field.

– Experience in a laboratory setting, with familiarity in conducting experiments and handling lab equipment.

– Strong analytical skills, with an understanding of research techniques.

– Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. Knowledge or interest in sustainable materials.

Salary & Conditions

– One-year contract with a month trial period, with the goal of establishing a long-term relationship.

– Competitive salary aligned with the market 25 vacation days per year, with additional special leave days for life events.
