Kelsey K. Conner

Kelsey K. Conner is a multi-media artist and curator based in Indianapolis, specializing in paper, fibers, and print. She is in her third year at the Herron School of Art & Design, pursuing a BFA in Sculpture with a minor in Art History and Book Arts, and plans to earn an MFA and become a professor. Inspired by personal experiences, her work explores femininity, intimacy, and the emotional significance of hair. Using both her own and her loved ones’ hair, she creates deeply personal pieces that evoke varied reactions, from comfort to discomfort, challenging perceptions of beauty and identity. In addition to her artistic practice, she teaches at her local Arts Center, fostering creativity within her community.
