Kimberley Boudville

Kimberley Boudville is a multidisciplinary artist known for her intimate and conceptual works. Her art spans painting, ink drawing, installation, and assemblage, with a focus on sculptural installations. In 2021, her graduation installation of crystallized taxidermied butterflies encased in bell jars earned her the Best of the Best award at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) in Singapore. Kimberley’s recent work delves into themes of grief, death, and memory. She weaves delicate images using strands of her hair, incorporating batik floral patterns that reflect femininity and maturation. Her pieces, such as A Dance of Time’s Passing and Interwoven Flutter, explore identity, self-discovery, and transformation, with hair serving as a symbolic medium for metamorphosis. She has exhibited in various art shows, including Art With Heart 2022, 6 Ways of Seeing, and her solo exhibition Chrysalis at The Backroom Gallery. Kimberley holds a First Class Honours degree in Fine Art Practice from NAFA and a Diploma in Fine Arts from The One Academy.
