Beata Rekemova is a freelance dancer and performer from Slovakia, currently based in Prague, Czech Republic, she began her dance journey at the conservatory in Slovakia before studying contemporary dance at PERA, School of Performing Arts in Cyprus, where she honed her skills in technique, improvisation, and composition, developing her personal language, Beata co-created and participated in choreographies by Judith Sánchez Ruíz, Rafaela Sahyoun, Jos Baker, and others, she also created the duet “Attracted by Repulsion” with Bente Bulens, which premiered in 2023 and was presented at festivals across Europe, Bente Bulens, a dancer and performer from Belgium, graduated from PERA, focusing on contemporary dance, improvisation, and composition, she performed in works by Jos Baker, Rafaela Sahyoun, Anton Lachky, and more, Bente co-created “Attracted by Repulsion” with Beata Rekemova, and her solo “Beyond After” won the first prize in the ICC Linkage, both dancers are passionate about integrating dance with motion picture arts and promoting inclusivity in contemporary art.
